Black Mirror is finally back with six new episodes as Netflix has revealed the episode titles and descriptions along with a star-studded cast.

The wait for Black Mirror season seven is finally over, with the highly anticipated release just around the corner. Netflix has now revealed the episode titles and details of the upcoming season.

The brainchild of Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror, makes its long-awaited return on Thursday, April 10, with six brand-new episodes launching on Netflix.

This season boasts an all-star cast, dark and twisted storylines, and the highly anticipated sequel to USS Callister from season four, which first aired eight years ago.

As the debut of Black Mirror season seven approaches, Netflix has dropped episode titles, descriptions, and a gripping trailer to get fans excited.

Episode One: Common People

Official description: “When a medical emergency leaves schoolteacher Amanda fighting for her life, her desperate husband Mike signs her up for Rivermind, a high-tech system that will keep her alive – but at a cost.”

Rashida Jones, known for her roles in The Office and Parks and Recreation, will star as Amanda. Chris O’Dowd from The IT Crowd will play Mike, and Tracee Ellis Ross from Black-ish will bring Gaynor to life.

Episode Two: Bete Noire

Official description: “Confectionary whizz kid Maria is unnerved when her former schoolmate Verity joins the company she works at – because there’s something altogether odd about Verity, something only Maria seems to notice…”

Bete Noire is set to see Sienna Kelly of Adult Material fame take on the role of Maria, with Rosy McEwen from Blue Jean starring as Verity and Law and Order: UK’s own Ben Bailey Smith appearing as Gabe.

Episode Three: Hotel Reverie

Official description: “A high-tech, unusually immersive remake of a vintage British film sends Hollywood A-list star Brandy Friday into another dimension, where she must stick to the script if she ever wants to make it home.”

Gracing our screens as Brandy in Hotel Reverie is none other than Issa Rae of Barbie movie acclaim, accompanied by Nosferatu’s Emma Corrin, Crazy Rich Asians sensation Awkwafina, and the talented Harriet Walter from Silo.

Episode Four: Plaything

Official description: “In a near-future London, an eccentric murder suspect is linked to an unusual video game from the 1990s – a game populated by cute, evolving artificial lifeforms.”

Plaything boasts a glittering ensemble cast featuring Doctor Who and The Thick of It legend Peter Capaldi as Cameron Walker in the year 2034.

Lewis Gribben from Generation Z is set to portray a younger Cameron Walker circa 1994 alongside a formidable cohort including James Nelson Joyce of A Thousand Blows, Michele Austin from This Is Going to Hurt, and People Just Do Nothing’s Asim Chaudhury.

With a nostalgic nod, Plaything will serve as a sequel to Bandersnatch, drawing back The Chronicles of Narnia alumnus Will Poulter to reprise his acclaimed role as game developer Colin Ritman.

Episode Five: Eulogy

Official description: “An isolated man is introduced to a groundbreaking system that allows its users to literally step inside old photographs – stirring powerful emotions in the process.”

At the centre of ‘Eulogy’ as Philip is none other than Paul Giamatti, the acclaimed actor known for his roles in ‘The Holdovers’, ‘Billions’, and the recent ’30 Coins’.

He’s accompanied by ‘Miss Austen’ star Patsy Ferran, who takes on the role of “The Guide”.

Episode Six: USS Callister: Into Infinity

Official description: “Robert Daly is dead, but now the crew of the USS Callister – led by Captain Nanette Cole – are stranded in an infinite virtual universe, fighting for survival against 30 million players.”

Returning for the much-anticipated follow-up to the 2017 hit ‘USS Callister’ is ‘How I Met Your Mother’ alum Cristin Milioti as Nanette Cole, alongside ‘Westworld’s Jimmi Simpson as James Walton, ‘Benidorm’s Milanka Brooks as Elena Tulaska, and ‘Buffering’s own Paul G Raymond as Kabir Dudani.

Joining the cast this time around include ‘Made For Love’s Billy Magnussen and ‘In The Heart of the Sea’ star Osy Ikhile, stepping into the shoes of Nate Packer.

Black Mirror season seven premieres on Thursday, April 10, on Netflix.
