Coleen Rooney’s youthful appearance has been brought up once again, this time by her new soap star pal as he shared a tribute to her while marking a special day.
The TV personality and WAG was celebrating her 39th birthday on Thursday (April 3) and her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here campmate Alan Halsall was among those who were quick to publicly send their birthday wishes.
Taking to his Instagram Story, while on holiday with his daughter Sienna in Thailand, Alan shared a picture of himself and Coleen while in the jungle at the end of last year.
The pair could be seen in the Bush Telegraph after one of their Bushtucker trials and were covered in gunk.
While Coleen laughed in the snap, Coronation Street star Alan could be seen pointing over to his co-star.
Across the picture, he drew a speech bubble coming from him with the message: “How can you have another birthday but look even younger?”
He then typed his birthday wishes as he wrote: “Happy Birthday @coleen_rooney. Have a great day! Sending [love] from Sunny Thailand. Al & Sienna.”
It comes after Alan hailed finding an ‘amazing friend’ in Coleen after their jungle stint. Coleen ended up finishing in second place in the Ant and Dec-fronted show’s 2024 series, having just missed out on being crowned winner to Danny Jones.
But Coleen and Alan struck up a clear friendship in the jungle and bonded over their Northern roots, with the former hailing from Liverpool and the other hailing from Manchester.
And it was earlier in March that the pair were seen reuniting with their families. Alan and his daughter Sienna, as well as his brother Steve and his children, met up with Coleen, her two youngest sons and her parents.
Sharing a picture to his Instagram Story, Coleen wrote: “Lovely catch up with @alanhalsall and the gang [red heart emoji]. Tony’ getting the Cosmos in next time!! [winking face emoji].”
Alan was quick to reshare the post, writing in view of his own followers: “I can’t wait Tony…”
He then added: “Good times, great food, amazing friends,” alongside a red heart emojis.
